The mission and/or main activities that contribute to being culturally significant:
Fierce Art Gallery Studio is a vibrant, artist-owned and -operated space that thrives on creativity, inclusivity, and community engagement. Known for its “Fierce Fridays” (open from 11 AM–6 PM) and free open gallery events held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays (6–9 PM), the gallery regularly invites local art lovers and residents to connect with creative expression through LGBT exhibits, workshops, and social gatherings.
The studio showcases a diverse collection of paintings and photography—featuring works by artists like Rick Kelson, Damien Jon, and Timothy Michael—and often foregrounds themes of identity, pride, and figurative expression through medium such as acrylic and line art.
As both a physical gallery and a cultural hub that welcomes “out-of-the-box thinking,” Fierce Art Gallery Studio contributes significantly to the evolving art narrative of Wilton Manors by offering an inclusive platform that encourages artistic exploration and community connection
