ArtServe is culturally significant because it functions as Broward County’s longtime arts-and-culture incubator—turning creativity into community impact. For more than three decades, it has advanced arts for social good by providing exhibition space, education, and business training that help local creatives build sustainable careers, with programs supporting 2,000+ artists annually. It also convenes enterprise, academia, government, and philanthropy to amplify diverse voices and drive inclusive economic growth, and is backed in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners and the Florida Department of State. In short, ArtServe is a hub that nurtures artists, strengthens community identity, and expands cultural opportunity across Greater Fort Lauderdale.
