The Cultural Significance:
TransSOCIAL, Inc. is a trans-led nonprofit based in South Florida that provides wraparound support, education, and advocacy for the TLGBQ+ community. We serve transgender and nonbinary individuals, primarily Black, Brown, and Latine people, through free legal name and gender marker changes, therapy referrals, support groups, mutual aid, and community events. We also offer TLGBQ+ Cultural Sensitivity Trainings for businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to foster more inclusive environments. Our work bridges urgent community needs with long-term systemic change, helping individuals live safer, more empowered lives while building a more affirming Florida.
